Money from online surveys

If you’re paying attention to spam, you might have come across these ads about getting paid for answering surveys. While a lot of them might seem bogus, there’s a number of websites that do actually pay you for minutes of your time answering survey forms.
MSN Money discusses the potential value of these surveys. Here’s basically how it works, you fill out survey forms online and you get paid from anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars (around $15 to $20 max). These would take a few minutes to accomplish. The longer the form, the higher the payout typically.
Now the question is if you can get rich with such activities. The key idea here is to gauge how much effort you put in for the payout. Money is money and a few added bucks into your monthly income is always welcome. However, as many would point out, this can be tedious work.
It shouldn’t replace any full time work that you have. And you have to pay tax as well so that’s less real spending money. However, it’s work that can be done by stay-at-home moms in those times when there’s a lull in housework or even by full-time workers wanting to earn up to a few hundred dollars monthly. Some surveys also give you freebies to base survey answers with. Freebies are freebies.
You also have to be savvy enough to weed out spam and bogus paid survey ads on the web.
